Scheduling Your Exam

Within 15 business days of receiving your completed application and payment, HMDCB's testing company partner, PSI Candidate Services, will send a confirmation of eligibility notification including instructions on how to schedule your examination. Once you have received notification from PSI, you will be able to schedule your examination.

Below are the three ways you can schedule your exam:

When scheduling an examination appointment, be prepared to confirm a location and a preferred date and time for testing. Candidates will be asked to provide their unique identification number which is provided in the confirmation of eligibility notification or can be found under the Exam Details section in the My HMDCB Certification Center.

Examinations are delivered by computer at PSI Assessment Centers located throughout the United States and other select countries. Exams are administered by appointment only. Available dates will be indicated when scheduling your exam, and are on a first-come, first-served basis, so we suggest you schedule as soon as possible.

Rescheduling

Candidates who wish to change test center locations or reschedule their appointment for a different date or time within the testing window may do so by calling PSI at 855-579-4641 at least two business days prior to the scheduled appointment. Your appointment cannot be rescheduled by email. Please note candidates must reschedule within the current year's testing window. See page 7 of the Candidate Handbook for additional details on rescheduling.
